Doesn't look nearly as good as it did on other bikes. The pipe looks like the carbon fiber melted to it, it's pointing down, and the bellpan/fairing doesn't go all the way around the pipe like on other bikes. Big disappointment.
Why is it so hard to make a decent looking exhaust for the 2015 R1? For $1000 it seems kind of rough.

The bike just looks goofy with no belly pan. So no exhaust looks right on the bike without one. At least this doesnt look like an afterthought on the bike.

I don't think it's bad... But I'm not nearly as impressed with it as I was hoping to be...

Need to see this on an M. Looks designed for an M. Polish the slash edge, add a SS wire mesh 1/2" in from the slash, bellypan stickers and it will look great imo.

If graves put his name on this, people would buy this cause its graves. maybe if the exhaust outlet was flush with the belly pan and it had some mesh to cover it up it may look more appealing.

I agree ... not a graves fan boy. The original graves for this bike looked rediculous but the short looks much better. I still don't think it is the best looking... to me... that goes to racefit. I just didn't want to wait for racefit and was scared it would be insanely loud.

Not really... this comes with far more than most exhaust out there. You won't get crap for $1000 except one of the bargain brands.. m4 or two bros.... I do like the sound of the two bros.

The graves shorty is an improvement but it sill looks too long to me and my idea of a shorty is like an m4 or like my two bros. Thats the beauty of things is that everyone has their own taste when it comes to their bikes

Is the owner of the bike a member here or any one know him? It would be good to know his thoughts about this exhaust

Yea I agree not quite what I was hoping for. Don't like how it sticks out to the side. Makes for a weird angle and doesn't match the lines of the bike. Already ordered my graves with the 265mm can. Can't F in Wait

Agree, doesn't look nearly as good as on the CBR. The R1 bellypan is curved, too - I think it should be more straight and the exhaust opening should be flush with the fairing and not stick out like it does for the new R1. Hm, back to the drawing board for me.

I had a closer look at the pictures and I agree - it looks weird because the bottom line of the carbon panel / fake belly pan curves upwards towards the back. If this line would be straight - like a proper belly pan or even the stock cat - it would look much better.
